Today we were to go in front and perform our best skills of what the instrument we're playing. I think I failed that one because I was nervous even though I have been practicing for 1 week but for some reason as soon as I go in front my hand were all solid and hard to move... It was a bad experience for me, but thank God we can do a re test for the next week (only if we fail the first one).

Blogging

Today we got an assignment and that involved us making a blog that consists of our reflection (from our own notes). Firstly I didn't really know why we couldn't just write it in our notebooks but I think it's more fun to make it here ;) so that's a good thing for me. Mr Herry explains to us all how to register and start making your own blog and such, he also gave us the url. As soon as I start blogging, it felt pretty fun hehe ;D

Pop vs Classic

Today we were suppose to present about Pop vs Classical music, it was pretty easy because each of the group members were given a task and then later we just combine them all and present it. Our group was the second worst, we got C+ but I think it's okay, rather than D. But what's annoying was that some of us didn't do anything so they just did it during lunch and that waste so much of our time for practicing the presentation speech. Our group consists of Me, Jeffrey, Bernard, Jik, Lee, and Ais

Berkibarlah Benderaku

Today is not the due date for our presentation, so I was happy about that. Instead we were suppose to sing Hari Merdeka, the whole class were divided into two groups; boys and girls. The girls sang first and we gave them 7/10 even though some of us gave them 0 but I'm sure they're just joking... then it was our turn and we also got 7/10 but this time the boys didn't get any 0 from the girls ( I guess they were being kind to us boys ). We got a homework to do, we were suppose to learn how to sing Berkibarlah Benderaku from youtube or anywhere else as long as you can sing it by the next meeting.

Today we submitted our classical music booklet that we've made and I think I did pretty good, actually better than the pop composer that I did last time. After that we were suppose to get into groups and discuss a little about classical music, our group consists of Me, Jik, Bernard, Jeffrey, Ais, and Andrew. I think we did pretty good because we got the summary just in 3 sentences so it was easy for us to explain and also fast. Then, we were suppose to make a presentation about Pop vs Classical.

Hari Merdeka

Today we were to sing Hari Merdeka, it was pretty funny hearing the foreigners singing, even though they tried so hard their accent is still pretty funny. After that we studied about the scale again but I didn't quite understand, but good thing my friend next to me understood it very clear and then he made me understood also, so finally I understand the topic

Classical composer autobiography

Today we submitted our pop autobiography and I think I did pretty good (comparing to the other boys, because the girls are way too smart for me to compete). Some of us were called in front and told to do a little presentation about their artist... I wasn't called because Mr. Herry picked it randomly. After all that is done we were told to have a research about classical composers (Homework). Because I thought we were suppose to present it in front I studied the composer's autobiography just in case ;).

Today we decided to cancel to sing Heal the World in front with a pair, because it seems that we have lots of things to do and we need to move on quickly too. So the singing were canceled and it was due on next week. We were given a homework, and we were suppose to search and research about biography of a famous pop artist and I picked The Doors because we should pick the artist depending from our name's first alphabet, and mine was D. It was an individual work, after that was done we studied about the G and F clef things and then we talked about music club.

I think our group did great but sadly other did better because they're bunch of smart people and also very keen learners. We also sang Heal the World twice. We were suppose to get a pair to sing Heal the World and my partner was Jeffrey, I hope i will do okay next week ;).

Second day of music class

Today we were put in groups and were told to sing Heal the World again, but this time per group. We also met a new student and was interviewed by Mr. Herry (Piano Coach).
My group was with the boys; Ais, Bernard, Me, and Jeffrey. Some of us couldn't really sang very well but it's okay because they've never heard the song very often... So in summary we were told to make a group and sing Heal the World in front of the class.

First day of music class

During the first day of my music class, when I saw the class I felt happy because to be honest the class was nice, it was clean, neat and there were many interesting music instruments. We were introduced and were suppose to get to know the teachers and what instrument they are teaching. As soon as it was done some of us were suppose to go in front and show some skills of our instrument, and we were also told to sing Heal the World by Michael Jackson. I knew the song so it wasn't really much of a problem for me to sing it, in fact we were suppose to sing altogether so it was actually no big deal.
